Gov. Mitch Daniels in his rebuttal to the President's State of the Union Speech said, "Obama inherited a bad economy, but since then his policies have made things much worse". Mitt Romney has echoed this "Obama made things worse" claim. This claim is impossible to square against facts - that in my book makes it a lie. Why isn't the press asking the follow-up question? "22 months of slower than desired job growth is still job growth, how is it possible for you to claim the President made things worse?"
